Yilmaz: No special treatment for Apo

       " Those who want Turkey to be harmed may make provocations. We need to be careful, as we are about to enter a very crucial process." said ANAP Chairman Mesut Yilmaz stating that the decision about Abdullah Ocalan's execution is very critical. Emphasizing that Ocalan's sultanate in Imrali should be ended, " He should not be getting special treatment" said Mr.Yilmaz. At ANAP Group Executive Board meeting Yilmaz said the following : " The fact that we are a harmonious working coalition, helped us to sign a common decision. Those who want to harm Turkey may want to provocate this decision and this could lead to a crisis.We should delay Ocalan's execution as much as possible. People may think differently, in six months from now on. I believe there will be a significant progress in the economy and I think the Ocalan issue will no longer be such an important element of the agenda. This coalition should last at least for two more years for the benefit of this country. Now we have an important opportunity to be able to struggle with the inflation. If there is one person that deserves to be hung in the history of the Turkish Republic, that person is Abdullah Ocalan." Mesut Yilmaz also pointed out that Ocalan should not be getting a special treatment and that he should be treated the same way the other prisoners are being treated.
