People in Madaya, used to be a holiday resort, have started to die of hunger as a result of a months-long siege by government regime forces. At least 10 people starved to death in 6 weeks. Families in Madaya are eating leaves, grasses and even their pets. At least 300 children in Madaya are suffering from malnutrition, the UK-based monitoring group said.
