6 martyrs in one day

In the conflict in Hakkari between the terrorists and security forces, 1 non-commissioned officer and 3 specialized sergeants were martyred, the Turkish General Staff announced. In a separate PKK attack on the Sogukkuyu Gendarmerie Post in Derik Mardin, terrorists attacked to a vehicle of the reinforcement troops; 2 security personnel were martyred. Among the martyrs in Hakkari, Sergeant Mustafa Gevrek was learnt to be on his last duty since he had been appointed to Ankara and Specialized Sergeant Harun Kocak was known to be injured and back on duty 3 months ago. It was also recorded that Specialized Sergeant Oguz Emre Erkoc who were martyred in Mardin would be going to Isparta, where he had been appointed to, in July.
