How do brands affect our lives? What are the most favoured brands by the Turkish people, which ones do they regard as parts of their lives?
Answers to all these questions were given by a comprehensive research. The latest high - cost brand research, which
has only beed made by only a few companies until now, was conducted in Turkey. Soccer clubs were also included in the study for the first time. The 650 people surveyed were chosen among three income groups - middle, higher than the middly and high - from five big cities: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana and Bursa.
According to the results which assessed 367 brands, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce products were among the 10 most differentiated brands as Galatasaray was ranked higher than Fenerbahce in terms of being 'esteemed'. Foreign firms were ranked higher than the domestic ones, among the remaining eight companies in this category. These companies were cited as Benetton, Beymen, Coca Cola, McDonald's, Mercedes, Pasabahce, Vakkorama and Zeki Triko.
