Klerides: I cant give the exact date

Greek Cyprate leader Glafkos Klerides didn't make clear whether the S-300 missiles will be delivered to the Island or not. He also stated that they will continue to buy weapons from Russia.
Mr. Klerides who has been in Moscow for an official visit gave harsh messages in general yesterday in a press conference and accused Turkey for preventing peace. Mr. Klerides stated the following due to Milliyet's question whether the delivery of the missiles is postponed or not:
"There is not an article in the agreement for the delivery of the missiles to the Island until August, but it is stated that the agreement starts in August. We have decided to bring the whole system at once and stated this to Russia. However, naturally I can't tell you the exact date for the delivery. I guess you too know why." At the mean time ITAR-TASS news agency stated that the delivery will be performed in August.
About his meeting with Russian President Boris Yeltsin, Mr. Klerides said "I have told him that the Cyprus dispute can be solved only if all of the foreign forces withdraw and I have been understood. I have also told Turkey's manner towards the issue. We agree that the invasion can not continue." Greek leader added that they will continue the military and technical cooperation with Russia in the future.
