Mafia boss Akgun's funeral attended by mafia and celebrities alike

       Nihat Akgun, one of the well-known figures of the Turkish mafia, who was shot to death in ac cross-fire as he was leaving a restaurant was buried following ceremonies at the Fatih mosque yesterday.
       Among those who attended the funeral were, one of the suspects on the Susurluk case Ali Fevzi Bir, the parner in business of the former 'casino king'Omer Lutfu Topal (also shot to death previously) Sami Hostan a.k.a "Albanian Sami", and two of the renowned mafia bosses Necdet Ulucan and Idris Ozbir.
       The former provincial governor for Eminonu Ahmet Cetinsaya, the former chairman of the Istanbul Office of DYP (the Right Path Party), and many well-known figures of the show business were also present at the ceremony.
