Milliyet is the most popular site on the Internet

Turkish Internet Users Quastionnaire conducted by MagNet reveals that milliyet.com.tr is the most visited newspaper site in Turkey with a 9% portion.

Milliyet Internet pages are still the most visited newspaper site . Milliyet is the first among newspapers with a 9% share while Hurriyet has 7%, Sabah has 3% and Fanatik has 1%.
The most visited Turkish site is the PcWorld. The site which holds a 12% portion of the market, provides program supporting, broadcasting and link services on a large spectrum from the professional to the amateur users.
Milliyet and Middle East Technical Uriversity (ODTU) share the 2rd position in the general list. The study also gives the Internet user profiles. 70% of the users are university graduates while 22% high school, 3% secondary school and 5% primary school graduates. In terms of using purposes business is 45%, information 23%, hobby 12 %, fun 12%, communication 7% and academical purposes 1%.
