Pangalos: "Clinton is a liar"

       Greek Foreign Minister, again viputerated, due to US pressure on Greece for the S-300 missiles, calling President Clinton "liar". Mr. Pangalos who has given a statement to Greece origin foreign law makers, stated that Mr. Clinton promised to solve the Cyprus dispute before the elections. Greek Minister said "This was a great lie. None of the promises about the solution of the 24-year Cyprus problem were kept."
       Mr. Pangalos defended that the US also kept Turkey under pressure in the past, but couldn't achieved any positive consequence, and he claimed that today the US tries to keep Greece under such a pressure.
       Due to Pangalos used the word "liar" for the US president, Washington protested Athens yesterday.
       At the mean time, Turkish President's interview with Milliyet and his claim that Cyprus won't let be a second Crete, shaked Athens.
       The Greek newspapers announced the news as the head title, while government spokesman Reppas commented that "What Demirel's message means, is that there is the Ottoman Empire dream lies beneath the Turkish leaders' views."
