PKK set four schools in Sur district on fire. Firefighters had to quit when they were caught between conflict.
Special operations police officer Mesut Demirkan (38) was martyred in clashes that took place between security forces and members of the Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) in Nusaybin district of Mardin province.
