The third trial of the Gazi incidents, which took place on 12-13 March 1995 and caused 17 people's deaths, has been carried at the Trabzon Heavy Penal Court under tension. The police and the gendarme who took all the entrances and exits of Trabzon under control since the other night because of the trial, has started to take serious precautions around the Trabzon Administration of Justice since last morning. Not letting anyone, but the press in the area in front of the Administration of Justice the police has also removed all the cars around the building with the fear of a bomb. Meanwhile taking the demands of the suspect's lawyers in account, the court committee did not permit the journalists to take pictures but let them only watch the trial.
The 8 buses bringing the victims' relatives and their lawyers has been searched at the District Traffic Head Office 10 kilometres away from the city. When the group who were not let in the city argued with the police, tense moments were lived. The group including 200 people has done a sitting protest at the entrance of the city and protested the authorities by shouting out slogans. A riot began between the police and the relatives of the victims who were not permitted to watch the trial. While the police took one person under arrest a group including approximately 150 people has done a sitting protest in front of the court building. After this a group of 40 people were taken in to watch the trial.
