An EgyptAir jetliner with 66 people aboard, en route from Paris to Cairo, vanished from radar and crashed into the Mediterranean Sea on May 19. Egypt’s aviation minister said it may have been a terrorist attack.

Minister Sherif Fathi: “If you analyse the situation properly, the possibility of having a terror attack is higher than the possibility of technical failure.”

EgyptAir Flight 804 with 56 passengers, including 3 children, and 10 crew member crashed into the Mediterranean Sea off the Greek island of Crete.

Speaking at a news conference, Greek Defence Minister Panos Kammenos said shortly after entering Egyptian airspace, the plane made a 90-degree turn to the left and then a full circle to the right, and then disappeared from radar.
