President Suleyman Demirel has accepted authors of Milliyet in his house in Levent and has given important messages about the current issues in Turkey's agenda.

The president who underlined that going on two elections together may cause some complications, said "However it is not me who approves the election decision, it is taken by the parliament."
Mr. Demirel was asked whether he will assign Mesut Yılmaz once more to establish the government "There haven't been such a case before. We will think on it and take a decision. I won't say any thing until only one week is left" he responded.
Mr. Demirel was also asked in case the Virtue Party will be the first party whether it will be assigned to establish the government. He answered "Being the party is not enough it should also have enough support as well." He said there is a necessity for the left and the right wing parties to be unified. "Disagreement between left and the right wing would bring instability to the country. Don't ask me when but there will be such a unification" he said.
