"We won't let Ocalan in"

       Russian Ankara Ambassador Alexander Lebedev stated that his state would not let the terrorists found shelter in their territories end said he personelly believes that PKK is e terrorist organization and its leader Ocalan is a terrorist.
       Mr. Lebedev had an interview with Milliyet, during Turkish Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz was annonucing that Ocalan is in Russia. He said "I am not authorized to tell you whether Ocalan is in Russia or not. Because I haven't informed by my government yet."
       "Russian government would absulately not hid a terrorist working against Turkey. However every government needs time to investigate such information. The manner of the Russian government is obvious. A terrorism related people or organizations can not expect support or shelter from Russia. I do believe that the manner of the government is valid for the appliction as well. I expect information from Russia. As we have agreed with thi Prime Minister Yilmaz, I will inform his as soon as I am informed.
       Mr. Lebedev underlined that there is a minority group in Russia that disregards today's improvements and respects to the past, has a suspicion about Turkey. In this context Mr. Lebedev pointed out some politicians like the President of the Liberal Party Jirnovsky. "There may be people who are ever ready to have sympathy to PKK. I don't mean that Jirnovsky or his party or any other political party is in relation to PKK" said the Russian ambassador.
