Easter celebrated across Turkey

Catholic, Armenian and Protestant communities have celebrated Easter in İstanbul, İzmir, Hatay, and Mersin.
EU Minister Volkan Bozkır and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu have issued Easter statements wishing peace to humanity. Several churches in Turkey held services to celebrate this holy day. Police have taken tight security measures taken against possible attacks against the religious minority groups.
