No Privileges for my son

When it was declared that the Internal Affairs Minister, Jack Straw's son was caught selling drugs to a journalist, Mr.Straw broke his silence and made a press conference the other night, saying that he wants no preferential treatments for his son.
Minister Straw said that he expects no privileges from the justice and that his son, William, will be judged just like every other English citizen. However as the son of a politican who has taken great responsibilities, he wants William to suffer no more than the others.
Straw who said that he suffered from a deep sorrow and shock when the administrators of the "The Daily Mirror" newspaper called him and said that they had pictures of his son trying to sell one of their reporters drugs, also said, " However being a parent meant to be by his side and supporting him in this period when he needed our love and attention. It meant helping him face his mistakes and being by his side at that time. And this is what I tried to do."

Mr.Straw said that he is ashamed of all that has happened and added, " But, all these that happened will not keep me from doing the things I am decisive about doing politically. As the Minister of the Internal Affairs, I will continue to do everything our government has planned to do in struggling with drugs."
Meanwhile it is announced that after all that has happened, the English Prime Minister, Tony Blair, did not ask for Straw's resignment and Straw himself did not have such an attempt either.
